Well now I'll bet you thought we were having too much fun to worry about all of this blogging business. Don't I wish that were the case...
I (Denise) have not been feeling well myself and woke up on Wednesday morning with a temperature of 105...yes, one-oh-five. I talked with a nurse through my health care plan, who advised me to immediately seek treatment at an emergency room. The triage nurse ripped me a new one because apparently I was baking myself by wearing too warm of clothing. I was supposed to have been taking cold baths to get my tempie down....something about seizures...who knew??
The doctor only gave me tylenol and sent me on my way. The tylenol did not do the trick and I decided to go with ibuprofin like Michael's doctor suggested since tylenol did not work to bring down his fever either. Good thing I bought the 100 bottle. In any event, we have both been down and out for the count.
Seems as if there is an airplane involved, then I am bound to be ill. This totally bites!! Michael keeps trying to look at the bright side and says that if we have to be sick, that it's better to be sick in Maui. I'm having a hard time trying to buy this sunny bright side business. If it were the holidays, I'd say bah humbug.
Crab factor = unknown. I was too out of it to remember. I think she's been fairly good though.
